I Ski and Make Things
Full Story to come.
The cliff notes:
I love to ski.
Sold myself to the Army at 18. Got shipped off to Iraq at 20. Spent a year in a desert. Came home. Skied a lot. Went to College. Skied a lot more. Graduated top of my class in college, despite spending most of the time skiing. Realized going to college for finance was stupid because I hated it. Took a job at a warehouse so I could ski more. Worked 3 days a week, Skied 4. Turned 27, figured I should try to work a "regular job". I hated 9-5 life. I quit 4 months later.
I always enjoyed building things. I started to dabble with wood working while I worked at the warehouse. The dappling quickly turned into a full blown shop. I realized I am much happier wood working than being a keyboard warrior playing with excel all day. So here I am doing the thing and focusing my energy on what I enjoy.
I enjoy skiing. I enjoy creating. I enjoy building pieces for folks that make them smile and they can't wait to hang up and show off. Whether it is a trail sign to remind you of the best pow day of your life, or a cutting board that becomes the center of your kitchen. I hope to craft something that will put a smile on your face for many years to come.
